Reading Instructions

This text contains sentences in Arabic. They are not translated. This is not an omission. It is a methodological decision. If you read these sentences and do not understand them, you are experiencing, on a reduced scale, what this work describes: the moment a reading system encounters something it cannot classify. What you feel in that moment—whether frustration, curiosity, the impulse to read on, or the impulse to skip the line—is not a side effect. It is a data point. The Arabic sentences are not decoration and not a gesture of identity politics. They are epistemic anchors: points in the German text where the self-evidence of German as the ultimate arbiter of conceptual order is interrupted. You do not need to understand them. You only need to register what happens in your body when you encounter them. This is already Embodied Listening.
